My name is Rishik Kapoor, and I’m a junior at St. Mark’s School of Texas with a strong interest in international relations and civic engagement.

I founded Foreign Policy for Kids because I believe world affairs shouldn’t be confusing, intimidating, or reserved for adults in suits. Foreign policy affects all of us, yet it’s often explained in language that feels inaccessible to younger audiences. The more I learned about international relations, the more I realized how few resources existed to make it clear and engaging for students.

On Foreign Policy for Kids, I break down complex topics like international organizations, diplomacy, elections, and global conflicts into explanations that actually make sense. My goal isn’t to tell readers what to think, but to help them ask better questions, understand multiple perspectives, and feel confident engaging with the world around them.
